
As Senior Vice-President of Client Operations, Caroline Sanfaçon’s mandate is to make delivering housing affordability solutions easy. To that end, her team is focused on simplifying the customer experience, continuously improving operational efficiencies, and advancing CMHC’s operational agility. A strategic and innovative thinker, Caroline brings to her role over 20 years of experience in public and private real estate, including extensive experience in retail and commercial real estate credit risk and lending.
Caroline joined CMHC in 1997, where she held a variety of positions in information technology, underwriting and affordable housing. From 2005 to 2010, Caroline worked at VanCity as an Associate Director and Director in retail risk and credit, before returning to CMHC in 2011 as Regional Manager, Underwriting.
Since then, through increasingly senior roles, she has worked to improve the client experience, including as Regional Vice-President, British Columbia (2014), Vice-President, Affordable Housing Investments and Lending (2017) and Vice-President, Housing Solutions – Multi-Unit (2019).
Caroline has a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Sherbrooke.
