Describing herself as a “generalist who enjoys having a macro view of the company,” Marie-Claude Tremblay brings 25 years of public sector experience to her role as Chief of Staff to the President.
In addition to advising the President, she is responsible for CMHC’s communications and marketing activities, corporate governance, Parliamentary affairs and correspondence, briefings and the Access to Information Program.
Marie-Claude joined CMHC in 2010 as Director, Corporate Relations. She served as Chief of Staff to the former President in 2014, before being named Senior Vice-President, Human Resources (later renamed People and Strategy) in 2015.
Marie-Claude holds Master and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (History) from Laurentian University. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995.
