  • Ampersand (Minto Group Inc.)
Ampersand is a transit-oriented development being developed by Minto adjacent to a retail/transit hub in Barrhaven, a suburban area of Ottawa. Phase 1 will have 300 units in the form of stacked townhouses and 4-storey condominium apartments that are either nearing completion or occupied as of early 2013. One of these buildings targets net-zero energy use. At completion, Ampersand will offer over 1,000 residential units including high-rise units, as well as proposed commercial-retail and civic uses.

  • Regent Park Revitalization (Toronto Community Housing)
Toronto Community Housing is leading the Regent Park revitalization in partnership with the Daniels Corporation. The revitalization will transform Canada’s oldest and largest social housing community into a mixed-income community for 5,100 households in Toronto’s east downtown. The EQuilibrium™ Communities support was for Phase 1, which is fully occupied and includes over 1,000 homes in the form of townhouses, mid-rise and high-rise units, either market condominiums or affordable rental units for low to moderate income residents. As a mixed-use community, Phase 1 also has nearly 5,000 m2 of commercial, retail and community agency space.
