The CMHC Alumni Association (National Capital Region) is an organization of former CMHC employees, including their spouses and surviving spouses, who have joined together for mutual benefit and continued friendship. Members pay a modest annual fee. An elected Executive Committee manages the affairs of the Association and liaises with CMHC on matters of mutual benefit or concern.
The Association organizes two annual social events, a “Spring Dinner” in May and a “Christmas Lunch” in December. The Spring Dinner is followed by a short Annual General Meeting. Also, there are at least two other social activities organized during the year. The Association also ensures that its members are invited to various social events organized by CMHC and the CMHC Recreation Club at National Office.
